The short version: the tools process everything in your browser, so the text you paste, the numbers you enter and the files you convert never reach us. Here is the complete picture.

What the tools do with your input

Nothing leaves your device. Calculations, conversions and text processing run as JavaScript in your browser. There are no server calls carrying your input, no logs of what you typed, and no way for us to recover it — the architecture makes collection impossible rather than merely promised away.

What is stored in your browser

Three things, all optional and all local: your theme choice (light or dark), your favorite tools, and your recently used tools. They live in your browser’s localStorage, never accompany any network request, and disappear if you clear site data. There is no account and no profile.

Analytics, cookies and your choice

The site can use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages are visited and how tools are used — in aggregate: page views, tool opens, searches, clicks and scrolling. Neither service loads until you allow it in the cookie banner: decline, and no analytics script runs, no analytics cookie is set, and every tool works exactly the same.

If you accept: what you type into a tool is still never part of any analytics event — the local processing described above makes that impossible — and Clarity masks typed input by default. Google and Microsoft process the collected usage data under their own privacy policies.

Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. There is currently no advertising on the site; if ads are introduced, this policy will be updated first.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request — the data that exists is in your browser, under your control. Questions are welcome at kontakt@1001.tools.
